USD rate cards only (2 CAD-priced rows excluded from price statistics). Medians and quartiles are shown only for groups with at least 5 rows and are rounded (prices to the nearest $50 under $1,000 and $100 above; CPMs to the nearest $5 under $100 and $10 above). Smaller groups show the range of price bands instead. Quartiles use the inclusive method. “Entry price” is the list price of one entry ad unit per rate card, on the publisher's stated basis (per issue, per month, per insertion, etc.), so it is not a normalised unit price — derived CPM is the closer like-for-like comparison. “—” = no rows with a computable CPM.

3 rate cards outside the eight categories (e.g. hearing healthcare, biopharma news) are included in the “All” and format rows only. Exact prices are published here only for the ten rows in our free sample.

Methodology

Every figure on this page is computed from the RateCard Health database as of 2026-10-28: one entry ad unit per rate card, as listed in the publisher's own media kit or rate-card page, in the original currency. Derived CPM = price ÷ sends covered ÷ stated circulation × 1,000, computed for 45 of 56 USD rows (12 flagged as estimates because the send count or basis had to be assumed). Circulation and open rates are as stated by publishers and are not audited. Read the full methodology.
